We are committed to keeping your personal information as safe and secure as possible. Our site is hosted securely with a NZ based provider - SiteHost, and we have rigid internal guidelines to protect your information.

Our online application is secured by 128 bit SSL encryption to ensure the safety of your personal information and all payment details are encrypted in our system, which is protected with Firewalls.

We regularly review our security processes and recommend that you do the same. By keeping your passwords and usernames secure (i.e. not sharing them with or disclosing them to another party) and regularly updating your operating system and anti-virus software you can protect yourself.

Despite all of our measures, it is impossible to guarantee that our site is 100% secure and therefore we need to emphasise we do not accept any liability for any misappropriation of your personal information from this website.

What kind of personal info will I need to provide?

The application collects information such as contact details, health details, and insurance history, which is used by your insurer to assess your application. All information gathered is sent confidentially and securely to your chosen insurer.

Is my information shared with anyone else?

Your information is sent only to your chosen insurer and is not shared with any other companies.

What is my information used for?

Your information is sent to your chosen insurer so that they can assess your application. And we are required to keep client records (e.g. names, dates of birth, etc) for legal reasons and to provide you with ongoing service like annual insurance reviews. We also have a quarterly electronic newsletter and may contact you from time to time with promotions we think you may be interested in or to introduce you to new services we are launching. If you have any questions about the way information is stored or used please don′t hesitate to contact us.

How can I access my personal information?

In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, you have full access to all information we have stored about you. Please contact us to arrange this.

As is common practice, when you visit our site a “cookie” is created. This is a file on your hard drive which means that our website will operate more quickly when you return. Our cookies don′t record any personal information - they simply note the areas of the site you visit.

Customer Care Specialists Web Development Specialists Tim Our Operations Manager, Tim keeps the LifeDirect team on track, and is also part of the creative team behind the LifeDirect concept and site. Tim has less spare time for hobbies than he used to - having his hands full with two young daughters! Conor Conor is one of the creators of LifeDirect and he heads up the marketing and communications side of the business. He loves dealing with clients and helping with any tricky insurance questions! Out of work, he enjoys eating out around Wellington and time with his wife and son. Natasha Tash specialises in providing insurance advice, and can give expert assistance with everything from simple questions about your cover to helping you select an insurer. Originally from Russia, Tash loves to travel and has recently become the owner of a lifestyle block featuring alpacas! Blair Blair manages LifeDirect's dedicated Customer Care team, ensuring that your application is smooth and quick, and providing expert help if a claim is ever needed. In Blair's spare time she enjoys being with family and friends and also working hard on her Diploma in Business Studies with Massey University. Michelle Michelle's a whiz at managing insurance applications and is also here to help once your policy is up and running. In her spare time Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, and loves watching motor racing, including regular trips to Manfeild to watch her friends race! Jana Jana's a key part of the Customer Care team, managing your application from the moment you first complete it to when your cover is up and running. Jana's keen on travelling and speaks fluent Italian. She also has her motorbike license and is getting married in January! Kelsey Kelsey prides herself on making your insurance application easy and is also here to provide friendly help and ongoing service once your cover is in place. Away from work, Kelsey loves spending time with family and good friends. Lizzie Lizzie's an expert in the insurance assessment process, making sure that your insurer assesses your application as quickly and fairly as possible. Lizzie's working towards a Certificate in Medical Terminology at Auckland University of Technology, and enjoys spending time with her partner and four adorable cats. James One of the founders of LifeDirect, James leads and looks after LifeDirect's web development team, making sure your experience online with us is enjoyable, fast, and super-secure. James is an avid swimmer and enjoys getting in the pool whenever possible. Tran LifeDirect's lead Developer, Tran develops and manages the programmes that enable us to quote and compare dozens of insurance options from eleven different insurers! In his spare time Tran enjoys playing with his young child, reading, and watching movies. Jith Jith makes sure the LifeDirect site functions smoothly and can take all the quotes and applications that you can throw at it! In his spare time, Jith loves playing cricket, spending time with family and friends, and watching a lot of movies. Matt As LifeDirect's graphic designer, Matt's task is to ensure that LifeDirect's website not only looks good, but is also a pleasure to use. His affinity for all things artistic continues when he's not at work, with making music and taking photos featuring high on his list of favourite pastimes.
