All products available on our website are provided on behalf of New Zealand's most established financial providers. We don't pressure you into making decisions about your choice of cover or life insurance provider. And, unlike other providers, you can complete your whole application online, or even take a break and return to where you left off with our Save and Retrieve process.

Search engines key to LifeDirect success

Twelve months since establishing New Zealand's first online life insurance website, LifeDirect reports up to a three-fold increase in sales.

In a 450-word interview with New Zealand Business (March 2007) Directors James Punnett and Neil McKenzie attribute their success to search engine advertising. James goes on to cite the five biggest mistakes online businesses should avoid when developing an online business, as being:
  • relying too heavily on offline advertising
  • turning off potential clients by asking for too much personal information
  • having a website that puts up more roadblocks than fast-tracks
  • not featuring endorsements by recognized brands, and
  • not having the customer service to back up sales.
